    5. New Star Trek Videos Explain Plot And Show Behind Scenes Footage

      With the release of the new Star Trek game just a few days away, developers Digital Extremes have seen fit to release a couple of new videos. The first gives a little more insight into the actual plot of the game, the character backgrounds and the appearance of the Gorn.     8. No One Has To Play This, But Everyone Should

      .

      No One Has To Die, a free-to-play browser-based flash game that is more thought provoking in twenty minutes than many games are in twenty hours.

      Focusing around the break out of a fire in office block. You, the visitor to the offices have stumbled into control of the security system and have to decide who survives. As the story progresses and each character dies you learn more about what’s going on from the surviving members. Problem is, you won’t find out the full story until you have explored every eventuality.

      This week has mostly been about Bioshock Infinite and the ups and downs I’ve experienced with it up to completion. I’ve also decided to go back and finish off a game that I never should have stopped playing in the first place, Sleeping Dogs.

    12. Catequesis follows twelve year old Daniel and his attempts to rescue his girlfriend Sophie. Things start to go wrong after a disastrous attempt at curing Sophie’s father from an incurable disease. Religous rites, weird creatures and signs drawn in blood ensue.

    13. Shatner’s Era May Be Long Gorn But Star Trek Still Looks Great

      William Shatner’s battle with the Gorn in this trailer for the upcoming Star Trek game may not play out quite how I remembered it. Thankfully this doesn’t reflect in the small amount of footage also shown in the trailer. Kirk (now played by Chris Pine) can be seen fighting classic enemy the Gorn with a range of different phaser weapons and even in hand to hand combat. To see the full trailer, click the link below.

    14. Gears Of War: Judgement ~ The Verdict

      Set years before the original game, Gears of War: Judgement takes the player back to the immediate aftermath of Emergence Day and the appearance of the Locust Horde. Baird and the rest of Kilo Squad take it upon themselves to rescue the civilians and soldiers bunkered down in the city of Halvo Bay no matter the cost to themselves.     15. Our Week in Games – Week 31

      With all this news of next-generation consoles, features they will include and exclusive games it seems I’m still living in the past. By far the most exciting piece of news for me this week was that Age of Empires II will be receiving an HD update exclusively for Steam. Move over League of Legends, you’re not laughing any more.
